Dust Collection in the Glass Industry
The waste gas exhausted from the melting furnace in glass making operations includes both hygroscopic
and abrasive dust particulate. The gas stream from these furnaces are extremely hot and the hazardous
dust consisting of silica sand, calcium carbonate, dolomite and other particulate, must be captured.
Aerodyne's mechanical dust collectors not only help to clear the air of this toxic emission but also
act as a spark arrestor before a final fabric filter collection unit.
