Dust Collection in the Abrasives Industry
Aerodyne dust collectors are better suited for handling abrasive materials than any other conventional cyclone separator.
The unique design of the Aerodyne ensures a minimal amount of particulate comes in contact with the collector walls, preventing
excessive wear. The Aerodyne Cyclone Dust Collector requires no ceramic lining or extra heavy-duty construction when handling highly
abrasive materials. This provides not only high initial cost savings but future savings due to the long life of the collector.

the manufacturing of grinding wheels. The interior walls of the dust collector
show very little signs of abrasion even with the highly abrasive nature of
the dust being collected. The powerful secondary air stream used in the
"S" Collector's design creates a centrifugal action along the walls of the
collector. This air stream keeps abrasive materials from contacting the
collector walls and increases efficiency over conventional mechanical
collectors. |
